Back in the U-S-S-S-A!

Michael does NYC

If it’s been a bit quiet on Gosstronomy of late, it’s because I’ve been gallivanting all over North America for the past month in the name of food. Yes, yes, I know – I should have been posting my exploits as I went, but there’s something about packing, driving and unpacking everyday that completely buggers up my blogging productivity.

Regardless, once I’m over jet-lag, story deadlines and purging these extra kilos I inherited from eating in North America, I’ll be getting back into the saddle and sharing some of my favourite finds from the US and Canada. It’s been a big swing, from LA to New York City, the Adirondacks, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Whistler and back to LA, so there’s lots to tell, and so little time to not be paying the bills. And, well, it’s also Good Food Month, so it’s going to be hard deciding whether to cover the cool stuff of the immediate past or the salivating stuff the present future.

Of course, the beauty of blogging is that I don’t have to decide until the moment strikes. So adios for today, but see y’all back here real soon.

    • Yeah, it was pretty sickly sweet. The multicoloured stuff is even sweeter than the already crazy sweet, ‘normal’ Cap’n Crunch. I was much more partial to Voodoo’s maple bacon donut. How can you beat a donut with two stripes of crispy bacon on top?
